This is a plastic model that recreates the interface section of HAL 9000, the artificial intelligence aboard the spaceship Discovery One, as seen in the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey."
The camera-eye portion, which was so iconic in the film, is modeled at 1/1 scale, true to life size.
The vertical size is an impressive 34.9cm.
Accurately recreates the mechanical rectangular shape.
The camera eye and the details below it are also carefully and thoroughly expressed.
In particular, the camera eye is composed of clear double-lens parts, fully capturing the atmosphere of HAL 9000 from the film.
What's more, the red-glowing camera eye can even be lit up with an LED set into the kit.
