Description
"Godzilla 2000: Millennium" (released in 1999) was a much-anticipated Godzilla film announced after a four-year gap since the previous installment.
During the design process for the new Godzilla, Yuji Sakai, who worked on the design team, created a study model that has since become legendary among Godzilla fans as a masterpiece. Now, with the cooperation of Toho Co., Ltd., that very prototype is finally available as a full-scale replica, 22 years later!
Crafted from Sakai's precious original clay sculpt, this long-awaited soft vinyl replica is titled "Godzilla 2000 Millennium Prototype Replica, Soft Vinyl Version."
Produced under Sakai's supervision of the sculpting and painting, it minimizes the loss of detail inherent in the soft vinyl production process, faithfully reproducing the clay original down to the finest details.
The paintwork also recreates Sakai's original coloring using techniques suited to soft vinyl.
The product includes a caption plate that describes the piece, further conveying the prototype's appeal and presence.
Experience firsthand the overwhelming sculptural beauty that remains as vivid today as ever.
