The M110 SASS is a semi-automatic sniper rifle adopted by the US military after combat experience in urban warfare revealed the need to engage multiple targets at varying distances, and the shortcomings of conventional manually operated sniper rifles.
Despite being a semi-automatic system that requires a certain amount of "play" for smooth operation, it boasts a grouping performance of 0.75 MOA... the ability to hit a coin at 100 meters.
US Army snipers currently use the M110 alongside the larger-caliber, longer-range M2010 bolt-action sniper rifle, switching between them depending on the mission.

This kit is a 1/12-scale model of the M110 SASS.
