Tomytec 1/12 Little Armory LA103: FGM-148 Type Anti-Tank Missile, Unpainted Assembly Runner Kit, 329992
"Little Armory," a 1/12 scale assembly kit series that combines realism with compatibility with poseable figures.
The FGM-148 Javelin is a man-portable anti-tank missile system developed in the United States.
Its greatest feature, the "fire-and-forget" capability, allows the shooter to lock onto the target and immediately take evasive action after firing.
Compared to older anti-tank missiles that required guidance operation all the way to impact, this dramatically improves the shooter's survivability.
It is also equipped with a "top-attack mode" that launches the missile high into the air to target the thin top armor, giving it enough attack power to destroy heavily armored tanks.
The Javelin has been widely adopted by NATO countries and is highly battle-proven, earning it renown as an anti-tank missile system that stands as a "symbol of modern warfare."
This kit precisely reproduces this ultimate anti-tank missile at 1/12 scale.
The firing sequence can be reproduced by attaching and detaching the sight and muzzle cover.
A tripod part for use as a fixed weapon emplacement has also been newly included.
Using the included decals allows for an even more realistic finish.
This product offers enjoyment for both display and action posing.
