[Contents] In the early 1980s, “kaido racer” style car modification became a huge trend among young Japanese car enthusiasts. The basic idea was to modify cars to resemble race cars built specifically for circuit racing, mainly by changing the engine and exterior.
At the time, it was difficult to modify cars legally, so these were essentially illegal modifications with a strong outlaw image.
Particularly popular among kaido racer enthusiasts were the wide tires and wheels used on race cars, along with the overfenders fitted to cover them. Liberty Walk, based in Aichi Prefecture, brought this old-school modification style to the world in the 2000s by combining it with modern supercars and sports cars.
This 35GT-RR has been customized beyond recognition with silhouette-style fenders inspired by the Group 5 race cars (Silhouette Formula) defined by the FIA, which were hugely popular around the world in the 1980s.
[Country of Origin] Malaysia
[Recommended Age] 3 years and up
[Note] The back of the blister card is in Japanese.

[Hot Wheels] Hot Wheels = “Cool cars!” A distinctive Southern California-inspired look, fast-spinning wheels (cutting-edge technology at the time!), and tires with a red racing stripe.
