This is a display model that pursues organic, high-density skin detail and skeletal structure down to the finest details. The skeleton can be displayed in two ways: “housed inside the body” or “displayed alongside the outer skin.” The distinctive skeletal parts are brought to life under the supervision of Shinji Nishikawa, who has contributed kaiju and mecha designs, as well as settings and direction plans, to nearly every Godzilla film. The bones’ dynamic curves are tailored to match the pose, and their realistic forms are sculpted down to the finest structural details. The body’s natural curves are recreated from the tip of the face to the tip of the tail. The outer skin is designed to make part seams inconspicuous, a benefit unique to a non-articulated model. Part separation recreates the color variation inside the mouth. Clear parts are used for the dorsal fin joints. Two types of support posts are included to support the large body.
