The 1/48-scale completed model of the "Swordfish II," the beloved ship of Spike Spiegel, protagonist of the TV anime "Cowboy Bebop," is confirmed for re-release!
Supervised by mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, this full-spec memorial model faithfully captures every aspect of the Swordfish II's appeal, including its airframe shape, gimmicks, and weathered finish.
Size: Approx. 36 cm long, approx. 30 cm wide.
Recreated gimmicks: folding main wings, retractable/extendable landing gear, rotating auxiliary wings, rotating/extending plasma cannon, opening/closing engine air brakes,
removable cockpit unit, opening/closing canopy, included pilot figure, included dedicated stand. The maintenance hatch can be displayed open using a swap-out part.
Made of ABS, with die-cast parts used in some areas, including the landing gear. Distinctive weathering effects, such as battle damage and dirt on the airframe, are also recreated.
Built-in LEDs illuminate the lights and engine nozzles (3x LR44 batteries for testing included).
