Designer 460, also known as Hideki Shiroma, who brought "BUDOG COLLECTION" and "bitter melon" into the world, teams up with Good Smile Arts Shanghai to launch "HAPPY2PEAS" to the world. Through this original character series—owners and pets with strikingly similar faces, a concept that seems like it should have existed before but never quite did—we hope to offer a chance to once again reflect on forms of love that cross the boundary between humans and animals. The first character in the series, (KINO)-chan, is a very shy 6-year-old girl. One day, her mother gave KINO-chan, who has a bit of trouble making friends, a female exotic shorthair cat named (chikuwa). At first they were wary of each other, but while watching a horror movie together, they ended up hugging each other out of fear before they knew it—and that's how they became best friends. Since then, the two of them have been inseparable, going everywhere and doing everything together, and gradually even their mannerisms and faces have started to look alike. Emboldened by her best friend, KINO-chan has become more active, and now she's off to [PEAS PARK], with chikuwa riding along in the basket of her tricycle.
